Our promise: MagicPick analyzes your photos locally on your iPhone or iPad. We do not upload photos, thumbnails, face features, or metadata to any server.
1. What We Do Not Collect
We do not upload your photos or videos.
We do not upload thumbnails, embeddings, face features, or clustering results.
We do not upload album names, filenames, capture times, locations, or other photo metadata.
We do not collect device identifiers for tracking.
We do not include third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs.
2. Local Data
Scan progress, similar groups, score caches, preferences, and DEBUG-only scan snapshots stay on your device and are removed when you uninstall the app.
3. Permissions
Photo Library read access: used to scan and identify duplicate, similar, and low-quality photos. You may grant full access or selected photo access.
Photo Library add access: used only when you choose to restore a deleted photo.
4. AI Models
MagicPick uses on-device machine learning models for classification, scoring, similarity detection, and face grouping. Inference stays local. Model files are delivered on demand through Apple infrastructure and do not contain your photo content.
5. Deleting Photos
Photo deletion uses iOS PhotoKit. Deleted photos move to Recently Deleted and can be restored within 30 days.
6. Children’s Privacy
MagicPick is not designed for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect children’s personal information.
